New Public Quest System

In the world of the Tideborn, you may encounter many interesting things. Among these, quests are one of the things that stand out. Players can feel the exhilaration and joy of gaming by achieving coin, items, or EXP rewards through quests. In the Perfect World Prequel there is something new to get excited about, public quests!

What is a Public Quest?

To put it simply, public quests are quests that are completed by all players. When you're doing normal quests, you won't share the quest progress with others unless you are in a squad. The progress of a public quest is shared by everyone. That means, anyone doing the same quests will influence each others' progress. Players might be cooperating, or they might be working against you. Together they help to push quest progress onward. Only in these public quests can a player really have the feeling of influencing the live world.

Contributions/Rewards

Public quests break the old way of acquiring and completing quests. A player can participate in the completion of the quest at any time. The rewards from Public Quests are distributed in a unique manner, and they are based on each player's contribution. The more you have contributed to the quest, the higher grade reward you will get. For public quests, a ranking board will be displayed to let the player know their contribution, as well as ranks and rewards.

As you might have guessed, contribution means how much you have done in a quest. The contribution value is based on your monster kills, quest items collections, and damage inflicted to the boss, etc.
